American Boat and Yacht Council (“ABYC”)

ABYC – American Boat & Yacht Council – is a not-for-profit membership organization that has been developing and updating the safety standards for boat building and repair for nearly 50 years. ABYC is actively involved with the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and is a leader in education for the marine industry, as well as certification programs for marine technicians.

Kevin McGoldrick has passed the qualifying exam conducted by the ABYC for Standards Accreditation.  This distinction demonstrates an in-depth knowledge of ABYC standards and their application on small craft.

 

Society Of Accredited Marine Surveyors (“SAMS”®)

Founder of McGoldrick Marine Surveying, LLC, Kevin McGoldrick AMS #965, is a member in good standing in the Society Of Accredited Marine Surveyors.  The members of SAMS are required to meet strict professional, technical, and ethical standards.  SAMS members are committed to enhancing the profession of marine surveying, avoiding prejudice, conflict of interest, and maintaining professional independence.

National Fire Prevention Association (“NFPA”)

The mission of the international nonprofit NFPA is to reduce the worldwide burden of fire and other hazards on the quality of life by providing and advocating scientifically-based consensus codes and standards, research, training, and education.
